Gender Equality Month: " An independent woman means a progressing and winning Africa "
At the core of the Fondation Nexans’s mission, electrification also serves as a pillar for empowering women. Whether in education, access to healthcare, or entrepreneurship, the needs are vast. Luz Al Barrio : bringing light back to communities
In 2024, the Fondation Nexans continued its collaboration with the international NGO TECHO in Peru. Through the Luz al Barrio program, literally meaning “lighting up the neighborhood,” the two organizations joined forces to provide reliable and sustainable lighting solutions to vulnerable Peruvian communities. Fondation Nexans: Bertrand Julian, General Delegate, passes the baton
In February 2025, Bertrand Julian, General Delegate of the Fondation Nexans, is stepping down from his role and leaving the Nexans Group to retire. He will be succeeded by Mary Malone, previously HR Projects Manager & CHRO PA. Before his departure, the Fondation wanted to reflect with him on his journey and the significant moments he has experienced within the organization.
