Fondation Energies pour le Monde (Fondem)
Fondation Énergies pour le Monde is a public utility foundation that has been working for 30 years to provide universal access to electricity in rural areas while respecting the environment, mainly in Africa, Madagascar and South-East Asia
The Foundation is part of a responsible approach focusing on renewable energies, respectful of the environment, in their diversity and devoid of selectivity (solar photovoltaic and thermal, wind, hydraulic, biomass...).
The partnership with Fondem is one of the oldest and most successful. Seven projects have been financed by the Foundation, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Fondem brings its social expertise to innovate in business models, to better understand the economic and social issues of rural electrification, and to constantly adapt to local and global challenges.
