Shekina
The Shekina Association aims to help the most needy, especially widows and orphans. The Shekina Association is also involved in several projects in the field of education, agriculture, entrepreneurship, health, sustainable development and women's empowerment.
Within the framework of our partnership with the Nexans Foundation, we carry out projects in the fields of health and sustainable development as we electrify health centers using solar panels. Since 2019, with the support of the Nexans Foundation, we have electrified 14 health centers in 5 regions of Ivory Coast for approximately 70,000 beneficiaries.

The electrification of the health centers supported by the Nexans Foundation has improved the health and well-being of women in the local communities, as deliveries can now be made 24 hours a day, and the risk of neonatal death and death in childbirth is reduced. The project also improves the living conditions of the population and the working conditions of the health staff.
The projects supported by the Nexans Foundation have had a positive impact due to the improvement of the living conditions of more than 70,000 people, the increase in the rate of attendance at health centers, better care because care is now provided in the light, a reduction in the rate of neonatal mortality and mortality in childbirth.
