The Fondation Nexans brings solar energy to children in Denizli

The Fondation Nexans has completed a social responsibility project to promote sustainable energy and education, in collaboration with Nexans Turkey, Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi A.Ş., and Cafer Sadık Abalıoğlu Foundation for Education and Culture. This project involves the implementation of a solar roof application at the Dentaş Special Education Application Center (DOÇEM), in Denizli, Turkey.

DOÇEM is a renowned school that provides special education for autistic children. It is designed to enable them to lead independent lives. The solar roof installation fully meet the power requirements of the school, substituting for conventional power sources. The solar energy has been generating power for various activities and learning spaces specially designed to cater to the needs of the children.

On September 6, local authorities, Nexans special guests cut the ribbon of the of the solar installation in local school alongside representants from Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi A.Ş., and Cafer Sadık Abalıoğlu Foundation for Education and Culture.
