Nexans Fondation 14th Call for Projects : Lighting the Future

This Monday, February 2nd 2026, the Fondation Nexans launches its 14th call for projects aimed at NGOs and organizations committed to promoting more sustainable energy.

This call for projects will remain open until March 2, 2026.

To be eligible, submitted projects must meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Provide access to sustainable electricity for populations that lack it or are poorly equipped

• Promote education and training in energy-related and electrification professions and skills

• Support environmental projects linked to electricity-related issues

Each year since 2013, the call for projects has been a key winter highlight for the Fondation Nexans.

More than 3 million people have benefited from initiatives funded by the Fondation Nexans — and many more will, thanks to you.

Recent projects 

Around ten projects are expected to be selected again this year. To inspire you, here are some of last year’s award-winning initiatives.

In 2025, the 3R project led by GERES in Benin received our support.
Unique in its kind, this initiative aims to study, develop, and structure the solar energy waste management sector. Both operational and forward-looking, 3R helps reduce waste while providing knowledge and training across the entire solar value chain in Benin.

In South America, in partnership with TECHO Peru, we renewed the Luz al Barrio project, which seeks to reduce the feeling of insecurity in the streets of certain neighborhoods in Lima. Over the years, many communities across the country have benefited from TECHO’s support.

In Morocco, the Nexans Foundation is partnering with the ENR Cluster, an organization dedicated to developing the renewable energy and energy efficiency ecosystem in Morocco. Deployed over a three-year period, the initiative entitled Green Midelt aims to foster entrepreneurship in the Midelt region through training and learning programs focused on renewable energies.
